How much ink is too much for digital printing?

Stationery HQ File Setup Guidelines Your design will looks its best if the printing supports it. Something to consider when designing is the amount of ink coverage you're using on heavily saturated colors. The Stationery HQ File Setup Guidelines say to make sure a heavily saturated color must be under a combined CMYK value of 240%. Black and navy need special attention, as they are often very saturated colors. And navy can look purplish with digital printing, learn more about how to manage that here. A little research goes a long way when setting up files for digital printing.
